One of India’s top universities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in six faculties, including Engineering and Technology, Science and Humanities, Law, and Agriculture. It has over 52,000 full-time students and more than 3200 faculty members spread across all of its campuses, including kattankulathur, Ramapuram, and Vadapalani Campus, all around Chennai, Modinagar, NCR, and Delhi.
Ranking
According to the 2020 NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework), SRMIST is ranked 30 nationwide in the Universities category. It is regularly ranked by international ranking organizations like Times Higher Education & QS (UK).
Rating
Famous ranking organization QS has given SRMIST a “Diamond” rating in the Indian context and a “Four Star” rating globally.
Accreditation
The SRM Institute of Science and Technology has been accredited by NAAC with the highest grade, “A++,” valid for the following 5 years. SRM IST is classified as l with a 12 B Status by MHRD-UGC. Four other engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by IET, and five undergraduate engineering programs at the kattankulathur campus are accredited by several ABET commissions (www.abet.org) (UK).
